Cytec Introduces New Digital Monomers for Improving Performance in Digital UV Inkjet Printing
Cytec is now offering special grade Digital Monomers which were developed to provide better performance all the way through the manufacturing and printing processes for inkjet inks and coatings.
When combined with Cytec’s other EBECRYL® oligomers, the new Digital Monomers give ink makers and printers a whole portfolio of products for meeting the new requirements of digital UV inkjet manufacturing and printing.
Overall, these specialized monomers improve thermal stability under operating conditions, especially when compared to the performance of normal monomers.
Also, the Digital Monomers can help shorten manufacturing time by speeding up the filtration processes and reducing the amount of filtration media.
All of the Digital Monomers can be used for dilution of the pigment dispersion. DPGDA-D and HDODA-D are the main monomers for pigment grinding.
