NEW UVEKOL® GRADES

In the last edition we gave an overview of the UVEKOL® LAMINATING SYSTEM, including resins, tapes and concentrated colour pastes.
Today, we can announce the launch of 2 new UVEKOL® grades: UVEKOL® FR and UVEKOL® FR-C.

UVEKOL® FR and UVEKOL® FR-C have especially been developed for the lamination of fire resistant glass, respectively borosilicate and ceramic glass. They confer safety impact resistance to these glass types, so the laminate can be used as safety glass.
UVEKOL® FR is halogen free.

Technical Data Sheets are available on simple request, (free) samples will soon be available, too.
UVEKOL® FR and FR-C are applied in the same way as the traditional grades. Please note that the densities of these grades are higher than the density of the UVEKOL® S grades (density = 1), respectively 1.06 for UVEKOL® FR and 1.38 for UVEKOL® FR-C. As a consequence, the simple “1 litre = 1 kilogram” rule cannot be applied here!

We will be glad to share all available information on these products with you, while meeting at the Glasstec exhibition or at any other occasion.
