New Waterborne Resins for Protective Coatings 

Our new BECKOPOX™ EP 386w/52WA waterborne solid epoxy dispersion in combination with BECKOPOX™ VEH 2188w/55WA resin  make a winning anti-corrosion 2K epoxy/amine primer.  It gives protection even without inhibiting pigments!

New  RESYDROL™ AY 6150w/45WA waterborne universal alkyd emulsion is a great air-drying primer choice for general light duty protection that enables direct-to-metal coatings and high gloss topcoats.

Cytec's other new exciting products are:
 
MACRYNAL™ SM 507/53XBAC solventborne 2K acrylic polyol resin enables fast drying with superior adhesion on metal, aluminium and plastics.  It also excels in its compatibility with CAB, chemical resistance and durability.

ADDITOL™ XL 6526 solventborne acrylic silicone hybrid flow and leveling additive boasts of very low dosage of 0.05% yet greatly enhances distinctiveness of image (DOI).   This additive is ideal for auto refinishing and auto OEM. 

MACRYNAL™ SM 2810/75BAC is a solventborne 2K acrylic polyol resin for fast drying high solid system and is good for any requirement for high gloss, excellent chemical resistance and low volatile organic compound (VOC) characteristics.   This product is a definite advantage for industries like auto refinishing and earth-moving agricultural equipment.

Cytec Present at the American Coatings Show and Conference

Cytec recently joined more than 350 exhibitors in launching the American Coatings Show as the new, premier event for the U.S paint and coatings industry early June. The Cytec booth featured a range of liquid coating resins, UV/EB curing and powder coating resins and additives under the theme, "Ahead of the Current".
