A new highly reactive waterborne amine curing agent for anticorrosive coatings
BECKOPOX® EH 2189w/50WA is a waterborne amine hardener particularly recommended for waterborne 2K epoxy/amine primers and single coats for metallic substrates. Due to its good anti-corrosion characteristics it can even be used on poorly pre-treated steel.
Typical applications include waterborne primers for trucks and Agricultural & Construction Equipment, as well as most of factory applied epoxy primers for the general industry. The high reactivity of BECKOPOX® EH 2189w/50WA also supports formulation of textured paints.
BECKOPOX® EH 2189w/50WA enables easier substitution of solvent-based epoxy primers with waterborne systems at optimized cost and comparable performance due to its water-like viscosity, low H-equivalent weight and very fast drying characteristics.

Cytec present at the American Coatings Show and Conference
This year for the first time the American Coatings Show and the American Coatings Conference will join forces to become one of the most important platforms for the coatings industry in North America. Cytec naturally will not miss this opportunity to be present at this major event which is taking place from June 3rd to June 5th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Under the theme "Ahead of the current" we will present at our booth N°1529 our latest product developments in Liquid and UV/EB Coating Resins and Additives.
