Cytec to Present "Novel Low VOC Universal Pigment Grinding Resin for Both Waterborne and Solventborne Paints" at the Latin American Coatings Show, July 14, in Mexico City

Ming Tsang, group leader for Cytec Liquid Coating Resins technical service group will present a new universal grinding medium for pigment paste concentrates used in decorative and light industrial coatings. This novel technology sustains the performance properties of the coatings, lowers systems costs and can be used in both point-of-sale and factory tinting machines.

DUROXYN® VEF 2406 and DUROXYN® EF 2107- Tannin Blocking Emulsions for Architectural wood coatings

DUROXYN® VEF 2406 and DUROXYN® EF 2107represents a new platform technology for fast drying, highly effective tannin blocking coatings without the use of expensive and unstable pigments. Coatings are well below 100 g/L VOC, and have excellent recoating properties while matching or exceeding performance properties of conventional solventborne tannin blocking primers.

MACRYNAL® SM 6810 - High Gloss Waterborne Acrylic for 2K Protective and Transportation Coatings

MACRYNAL® SM 6810 is a versatile waterborne acrylic for 2K topcoats used in protective and transportation coatings. It has excellent application properties including airless spraying. The high gloss, clarity and durability make it an excellent choice for coatings at less than 100 g/L VOC. Along with BECKOPOX® EP 386/VEH 2188, complete waterborne primer and topcoat systems for the highest performance needs are realized.
